19 years of experience in troubleshooting existing machines and in improving the design of hydro generators of both salient pole and cylindrical rotor (compact) design. 9 years in the role of head of R&D department, leading the team of electrical, mechanical and heat exchange experts (measurement specialists and calculation analyses specialists). Working on consulting the electric machine design teams and providing niche software solutions to increase design automation, calculation accuracy and overall productivity. Developing methods and algorithms for rotating machine monitoring system, with focus on the air gap flux density measurement and analyses. In the last 7 years focused on innovation in hydro generator design, specifically in introducing ferrite magnet use and exploring new rotor topologies.
