Stephan Kolb, graduated in 1996 with a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. Afterwards, he joined the Institute of Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machinery of the same University and worked in research projects. In 2001, he joined Andritz Hydro and worked in the Governor and Automation Department in Ravensburg, Germany. In 2007, he took the role as the deputy project manager for the new construction of a Run of River Powerplant and later was appointed as the Head of Mechanical Engineering Department for the Atdorf Pumped Storage Project (1.400 MW) at Schluchseewerk AG. From 2014 to 2020 he worked for AF-Consult Switzerland Ltd in the Hydropower Unit as Project Manager Electromechanic where he was responsible for the electromechanical equipment of the Nant de Drance Project. In 2020 Mr. Kolb joined Alpiq AG to become a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Electromechanical Engineering department.
